Ministries
For a small congregation, we have a lot going on. There will be a place and a ministry for you. Just tell us how involved you would like to be.

SUNDAY SCHOOL – Meets every Sunday morning at 10:00 and presents classes for all ages. Special Adult Elective Classes focus on a variety of subjects: Church History, World Religions, studies of individual books of the Bible, Financial Freedom, Christian Basics, and more.

MORNING WORSHIP – We gather every Sunday morning at 11:00 for worship and celebration with singing, Scripture reading, special music, and positive, uplifting preaching straight from the Bible. We enjoy being together in the presence of the Lord.

HOLY COMMUNION – On the first Sunday of each month we share in the observance of communion as part of our worship. This time draws us closer to the Lord, and closer to one another.

FAMILY POTLUCK FELLOWSHIP – On the third Sunday of each month we gather in our fellowship hall for a potluck meal. Each meal has a different theme: Soup, Sandwiches and Salads; Mexican Foods; Italian Foods, etc. The meals are fabulous, but the fellowship is even better.

SUNDAY EVENING STUDY TIME – On Sunday nights at 6:00, our pastor brings us lessons designed to strengthen our faith and increase our knowledge of the Word of God. He took us through an extended study of the Bible in the Sunday Evening School of the Bible. Now we’re enjoying an extended study of Bible history as he teaches a series of lessons on "How We Got Our Bible."

MISSIONARY MEETINGS – On the fourth Sunday evening of the month our Missionary President brings an informative and inspiring lesson about what’s taking place somewhere in the world through the world-wide outreach of the Church of the Nazarene. We have more than 700 missionaries serving in almost 160 world areas, and it’s exciting to learn more about them.

REGULARLY SCHEDULED CONCERTS – We enjoy a special gospel concert four or five times each year with outstanding artists from across the Northwest coming to minister. We like to think of ourselves as "Owyhee County’s Home for Great Gospel Music" and we do our best to live up to the name.

HOSPITALITY – It’s important to get to know each other better, so we periodically schedule events and activities designed for fellowship. These offer a wonderful way to build strong relational ties.

PRAYER CHAIN – Our people are grouped into two chains through which everyone may be contacted in a short period of time in the event of any emergency or prayer concern. Prayer needs are shared regularly, and the answers to prayer are often thrilling to see.

RECORDED SERMON MINISTRY – All Sunday morning messages are recorded, duplicated, and placed in our church library for repeated listening. Anyone wishing to have a copy of a sermon can have it in their hands the following week.

OUTREACH – We employ a variety of methods to share the life of our congregation with others in our area. It is important to us that those around us know as much as possible about our wonderful church family, and that they're welcome to be a part of it.
